naps. yes please.

I am totally one of those moms that doesn't do something because it is naptime.
I don't mess with naptime.
I don't even flirt with it.
I am sorry.
I know I am lame.
And knowing is half the battle.
BUT...
my kids suck if they don't have naps.
(and I suck if they don't have naps).
Plus, when they look like this after a nap...
well, you gotta understand.
Right?

Dang! He's a well-dressed napper! And I second you on the naps. My kids are total nightmares without them.

You never have to explain this one to me. I don't think Hayden missed more then a handful of naps prior to 3 years old. And those were because we're physically on a plane or something and there was no place to nap. Caroline has yet to miss one. Im so lame -I can't just roll with it. Gives me anxiety. Wish I could. My social life may suffer a bit because of it, but my home life is much happier;)

I am guessing that same big grin is on your face when the nap is happening. Naps are the BEST. Us olds like them too. In fact, the only people who don't like naps are the ones who need to take them the most.

We haven't ever once missed nap time. I mean, it's been maybe delayed. But it has to happen. My child refuses to nap when out. He's clearly a partier. So, yah.

That is a happy napper. I will try to photograph my evidence today which often is a scream of MAMA. MAMAMAMAMAMAMA.

This is just witness to how orderly you really are. I may fake organized well, but we are a nap where you are, Mom's schedule rules family. I envy your committment to 'the nap', it has obvious served you well!

A nap schedule is SO important. Mostly for me to have "me" time. I am jealous Hads still naps. Owen is still forced to have quiet time everyday, and will continue to do so until he is 12.
