kids thanksgiving.

Nothing better than than holiday projects made by these people.

Hads you're awesome...thanks for making us look good.
Even if you just copied off the kid next to you.
We'll take it.
Either way.
Your secret is safe.

And Carsie, the fact that you sat still for more than four minutes to make these puppies...well, that's what I'm thankful for.
You two rule.

cabin days.

Fall days at the cabin are the best.
So are winter days.
And summer days.
I like spring days too.
Okay, any days at the cabin are good days.

may the force be with you.

So every. single. year. I say I am not going to do a big party.
And then I do.
I'm not sure why.
It starts small...and then it explodes.
(that' what she said).
But it's not my fault.
Our friends and family come with a crap load of kids.
The Detmers and the Conniffs have 6.5 kids between them alone.
They'd never make it in China.
So I decided to go all out for Carsie's party.
Since this will be his last BIG party.
So I say.
It was a Star Wars theme on steroids.
We had Jaba the Hutt dogs, grape sabers, Vader veggies with droid dip, Princess Lay-a chips, Yoda-gurts, Luke Skywaters, etc.
Pinterest threw up on us.
And I always seem to justify these big events by thinking...well, the party is for both of us.
He's turning four...so hooray for him.
And we kept him alive until he was four...so hooray for us.
Happy Birthday Jedi Carson!
Thanks for letting us invite all of our friends to your party.

Now it's time for the lamest, pull a string, piƱata ever.
In my defense, it's hard to find ones that you actually get to whack.
And that are also the Millennium Falcon.
I'm not perfect kids.

And of course, the birthday boy in tears because he didn't get any candy.
Only 20+ presents.
Life's not fair.
Better he learn it now.

...and then the kids went to bed.
And we drank Boba Fett Fireball.

Happy Birthday to him.
Happy Birthday to us.
The End.
