turkey day.

I didn't work this Thanksgiving (which is a miracle because I haven't technically had the day off in thirteen years...that's a lot of hospital turkey)...so we headed up to the cabin.
Which of course, was ridiculously fun.
Because anytime you get this group of people together...we shine.
Well, maybe we're not that great.
But we are super funny.
And that's worth its weight in gold.
Dull gold.

First we cuddled with Zaide on Turkey Eve...

And then we welcomed the peeps...
And then we knit...
And then we carved the turkey incorrectly...
And then we laughed...
And then we carved the turkey correctly...
And then we loved.

And then we gambled...

And then we had discussions...
about really important stuff.
Like Fireball.
And then we drank Fireball...

And then we took selfies...
And then we made Gingerbread houses...
And then we took things to a whole new level...
Telestrations meets Cards Against Humanity.
It was life changing.

And then we had side-aches.
And tears.

And then it snowed...
And then we made snow angels...

And then we threw snowballs...

And then we went sledding...

And then we googled...
And gobble gobbled.
It was a good day.

kids thanksgiving.

Nothing better than than holiday projects made by these people.

Hads you're awesome...thanks for making us look good.
Even if you just copied off the kid next to you.
We'll take it.
Either way.
Your secret is safe.

And Carsie, the fact that you sat still for more than four minutes to make these puppies...well, that's what I'm thankful for.
You two rule.
