Aunt Lowdie made Hadley another sweater...but hates it (Aunt Laurie, not Hadley). So we refer to it as the "dog coat". This is another Sundstromism, meaning; you would only wear this sweater to pick up dog poop, take out the trash, etc. Lowdie thinks it's "fugly", but Hads seems to love it.

Fugly sweater looks sweet on Hads. And it is a perfect dog coat, although not as fugly as Lavs thinks.
Hadley carries on the noble Sundstrom tradition of wearing the dog coat with tremendous style. She's a classy dame. Take that thing to the cabin, she can wear it if she gets caught in a snowstorm!

I'm getting a kick out of these "Sundstromisms." Don't even know your fam, but I feel like I'm getting to know the lingo. Dog sweater or not, you gotta love it!
