Attack of the 50 Foot Woman...seriously.

We had Hadley's 2 year appointment (finally...I kind of forgot to make it) and found out a few things about our Tower Of Power. She was 80th percentile for head, 83rd percentile for weight (at just under 30lbs...pretty much as heavy as a bag of dog food) and...get this...96th percentile for height. She is a tad over 3 feet tall! The Doc told us the rule of thumb is to double their height at age two and this will predict their adult height. 6 FEET 1 INCH!!!! Look out Andre, there's a new giant in town. Part of me is excited because we've been putting a lot of money away for her college fund...and now I can spend it (on myself of course) because I'm banking on a basketball scholarship. And if that doesn't work out (because the kid can't jump and runs a little 'special') we'll cross our fingers for the model route...she's a great puker, and should fit right in.

I love it! She is a little string bean! If she doesn't mind dating a younger man, Carter will probably be 6'10" or so...they would make a gorgeous couple o' giants!

oh my gosh, she is HUGE on that chair - love how big she's gotten. such a kid now. and i'm glad you have such high hopes for her future... here's hoping she doesn't end up only being 5' and crushing all your hopes and dreams. ;)

I would NOT be surprised if Hads grew up to be 6'1". Sad we don't get to see had-ey today.

As a footer I'd like to volunteer myself to Hadley as someone to confide in. In the years ahead she may be privy to such nicknames as "Daddy Long Legs, TTO (tall tan one), Six Feet of Heat, Chyna Doll, Bruce, etc...". Or not.

Nonetheless, I'd love to get her on the court, maybe some continuous full court laps or blind folded ball handling drills. You can never start them too young. Just saying.

She does look giant in that chair! Remember what a shrimp she was in the first doc pic? And you'd better sign her up with B. Brakken's School of Basketball now. He will need someone else to manage once Amy and Sam grow up.

Or she'll be like Sarah aka blogger name Strawberry Shortcake and be one of the tallest girls in 4th grade and then become one of the shortest by senior year. Wait, i need her to become a model with lots of money because Meg, you promised Kenny and I we get to live in your guest house when you get rich...I've moved my hopes for this to your daughter!

I don't know what it is about this picture but I absolutely crack up every single time I see it. We haven't had a very fun week at our house so this picture has been my source of entertainment. It kills me! (And I agree...I want the age progression pics on that chair in a row. It might just be my favortie post if you do it!)
