Ry and miss Jane made g.bread houses the other day and both were totally stoked. You see, these two are the biggest candy freaks I know so the actual picking out and buying of the candy is WAY more exciting than constructing the houses. And let me tell you, these poor little houses were the saddest, most dilapidated, residences you ever did see. The only thing missing was a mugger and a drug dealer on the corner. Maybe next year.

I did see those houses and you must have spruced them up because they were way sadder than what is showing. NOW Hads could get in my league, the GBread house nightmare of 1981, the roof had so much candy it collapsed, we sawed through one of our chairs trying to save it (a very looooong story!!)

lol, I love Zaide's gingerbread house of horror story (don't let her fool you, her g-bread house was amazing!). Bockety gingys need to come to our house, they will fit in w the rest of our decor.
They are awesome. I love that those two actually allowed some of the candy on the house. Amazing that it made it home.
Was not as cute as when Ry told me he sdid this with Hads....I nearly died. I thought he bought the costco kit, but he corrected me and said...no, milk cartons and graham crackers....are you kidding me? And he stole the rest of my heart when he told me about bin candy at top foods...I DIE for crappy, sugary candy. Sweetest tradition ever.
Kinda looks like our basement remodel...which is my favorite part of the house! Some missing trim, undressed windows, some of the walls might be a little off kilter. But we spend a lot of time together there. The houses look well lived in! So sweet that they did that together.
Those houses are fabulous! Love that Ryan & Hads built them together and I can just see them both being so excited in the candy isle at Top.
