the game farm.

Okay, so I will be honest.
I usually hate this stuff.
It always seems like it takes forever to get to the destination, you pack up way too much crap for somewhere you are going to be for less than five hours, and then you spend the day with whiny, ungrateful, tired kids.
My kids are so lucky to have a mom whose glass is always half full.
(that's why I never let my other 'glass' get anywhere near empty).
I am a drag...and I know it.
BUT...
this time, this adventure was really, really, really, really, really fun.
And I think it's because I had zero expectations.
I had never even heard of this little 'zoo' all the way over the mountains and thru the woods (okay, down the freeway and across the Puget Sound).
It was awesome.
And the kids LOVED it.
And no one was cranky.
(Okay, I was a tad cranky at ice cream when I snapped at my mother, but that was a good six hours into our day, so I'm quite proud of myself).
And we got to celebrate the spunkiest little four year old in a pretty major way.
Thanks Allie for a great little birthday adventure.
And thank you giant Buffalo for not denting our car.
(Blog Moms, put this on your 'summer to do' chalkboard list next year...it's really quite a treat).

You and your back dating..

This is seriously terrifying. And has Zaide written all over it. Longinotti kids, just take me here when you're ready for me to have that fatal coronary.
