Black & Whites

Didn't have any new pics today, since I was hard at work...and Ryan is a picture taking failure. But didn't want to disappoint our fans. So here are some of my favorite B&W's from Hadley's 4 month folder. Notice I omitted the "Uncle Fester" picture, just don't think Hads could take the ridicule again.

Solids?

Cheesy mom a little too eager to feed her baby. Anything that could mean less pumping can get a gal excited.

Hads ate her rice cereal like a champ. In fact, I think her face is looking fatter already!

Ahhhhhhhh.

The other night Hads laid with me like this for over an hour. Didn't fall asleep, just cuddled and was content. These little moments are what make being a mom the best, for sure!

Maybe, just maybe...

Practicing Parents?
Can't fake that excitement.
Tender little moment.
One for you, one for me.
Too cute!!!
Joc has always claimed that she's never had a desire to have kiddos (which is crazy to me since mine have been named since the 7th grade)...I'm thinking maybe these pics tell a different storry. Sorry Joc, don't want to throw you under the bus, but you're looking pretty damn maternal. And, if you want to follow the Hollywood trend, go ahead and have the babe first...then get married, you might even get a bigger ring:).

What fun.

Lauren got tired of watching Hadley lollygag in her exersaucer, so she came over to show Hads how it is done. Wow, this thing really works.
Lauren teaching Hadley new tricks. She didn't quite catch on.
Good posers! Can't believe I actually got a pic where Lauren wasn't trying to poke Hadley's eye out.
Covered the girls hands with sugar to try to keep them quiet. It worked! Kidding.

Lauren barely able to control herself because she is having so much fun with her Auntie, Uncle & Cousins (gotta include Rudy...even though Lauren definitely does NOT think Rudy is fun).

So lucky.

Breaks my heart that Ryan has to go back to work on Monday (and Hadley's too). He has been AMAZING with her these last 3 weeks. We are lucky, lucky gals to have such a fabulous guy around.

Gryffin-DORKS!

President & Vice President of the Harry Potter Fan Club (Woodinville Chapter). Auntie Laurie came through again with her fab knitting skills. Hads is modeling the Gryffindor Elfkin Cap and Ryan is wearing the Gryffindor Snowboarders Cap? Didn't know if you all knew, but Ryan is a total "Pot" head (that's what Harry Potter fans are called...or at least what Aunt Laurie calls them).
Half Rasta man/Half Potter fan
Hads just found out that the seventh book will be the last of the Harry Potter series.

Faker, faker.

When you put this kid in the tub, she looks at you with sheer terror in her eyes. But pull out a camera and you would never know she despises the tub so much. Way to put on a happy face Hads!

Toot, toot.

Hads and Mama were posing for a picture when Hads decided to let out the loudest fart any human should ever be capable of...especially a 12lb baby. It even shocked her a bit! She may be a dainty little thing, but she's got more of her mom and dad in her than we thought:).

Good morning!

Happy, happy gal! It's amazing what 9 hours of sleep will do for a kid. Even more amazing is what it does for the parents!

Best Buddies.

Rudy & Hadley sitting in a tree.

Proud Papa.

Ryan took these pics while he's been home on Paternity Leave and thought they should be posted on the blog ASAP. I said, "why don't you go ahead and post them?" He said, "I'm home with her all day...I don't have time!" Amen...I'm loving this role reversal!

Playdate.

Meet Grace!
"Hey kid, you're too old for that...gimme it."
Ryan had his first playdate for Hadley. His good friend Josh Johnston from college brought over his 7 month old little girl Grace. Hads and Grace had tons of fun...or at least Hads had a lot of fun watching Grace play with all her toys. She got a lot more use out of them than Hadley does.

Finding our hand.

Now if this could just take the place of her paci, we'd be set.

Hadley's Arc.

We've got Mavis the Monkey, Ginny Giraffe, Henry the Hippo, and Leo the Lion all representing. Unfortunately, Mallory the Monkey and Zac the Zebra could not make it to the party. They were sorely missed.
