Ahhhh...

Sugar and spice and everything nice. He's a sucker for his girls.

Breaking in the deck.

So the deck isn't totally finished, but close enough for a small inauguration. And here is my child posing as the filthiest baby in the 'ville.
Mads & Hads enjoying some melon.
A motley crew.
Could these two look more differant? Funny because I think Kip and I look a lot alike.
Love them, even if they are ruining our stupid cream carpet with thier filth.
Hooray, get those babes clean. And yes, there was a giant dirt ring around the tub.
The dynamic duo again.
Maddie doing what she does best...being dangerous.

All cleaned up and ready for bed. Thanks to all for helping us celebrate. When the deck is truly finished we promise to have spinning bat races and keg stands.

HOT!

I was cooking dinner last night and Hadley was insistant on climbing up to the stove, standing on the salad spinner and letting me know that the stove was HOT! Thanks for the heads up Hadley. Now get the hell away from the hot stove.

Hooray...new lights!

Since the day we moved into this house I couldn't wait to get pendant lights in the kitchen. So 3.5 years later, I got 'em! And I cannot tell you how much they make me smile.
Here is my retardo husband making fun of me for taking 'slanted' pictures. He was watching me (unbeknownst to me) while I was 'shooting' the pics (that's what fancy photogs say) and let me know that 'I was a giant dork and need to stop trying to be like Joc.' So guess what Ry, slanted pics are all I'm posting now.
3 little pendant lights sitting in a tree.
There are kind of a goldish/orange. Like my hair used to be;).
Over the sink.
Love. Love. Love.

Nana & Pa's.

On Tuesday night we invited ourselves over to Ryan's folks for dinner. I think people may stop answering their phones when we call. We are good at inviting ourselves places;).
Hadley borrowing Lauren's bike.
And giving Lauren a ride.
Now it's her turn to get a ride. Where'd her pusher go?
Hads and Pa.
Nana making Hadley work.

Caught a moment.

These pictures truly bring tears to my eyes. Here is Lauren giving Hadley a kiss and telling her "I love you SO much Hads." The best part is, she had no idea we were watching. Lauren, I'm taking you to Toys R Us and you get anything you want kiddo!

Babe in a basket.

I needed to take some clothes to the dry cleaner the other day and didn't have a free hand for Hadley. So I stuck her in the basket and carried her to the car. She thought it was the all time funniest!

BBQ @ B & B's.

Last Sunday we invited ourselves over to my folks for an impromptu BBQ. Thanks for a fun night guys and for feeding us!
Looking so, so big.
Hads and her BF (best friend or boyfriend, he really fits either).

She could do this ALL day long.

What's a little bacteria.

This is her favorite spot to hang out in our bathroom.
And the fact that it's where she brushes her teeth too makes it that much grosser. Oh well, God made dirt...you know the rest.

Coffee and a bike ride.

The whole fam dam rode our bikes to Gretchen's Sunday morning, a cute little coffee shop by my work. What a great way to start the morning. And it was actually fun riding with Ryan because he was pulling an extra 4oish pounds with Hadley and all...so I could keep up.
Latest trick, the mountain climber. Guess it was too hot on her knees. And yes, she was doing this in the parking lot. The things you'll let go on so you can enjoy a cup of coffee.
Loved splashing in the water.
She 'walked' around this fountain about 10 billion times.
Loved the colors in this picture, wish I had a fancy camera to really capture them. Hint, hint RP.

She's definitely ours.

If Ry and I could only pick one type of food to eat for the rest of our lives, candy would definitely be it. We LOVE candy! It has cost our parents hundreds of dollars in dental work with a mouthful of fillings, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Just give us our Swedish Fish and Sour Cherries (anything gummy will do) and we'll be smiling. So yesterday morning when we were getting ready, each of us thought the other was watching Hads. I come downstairs to this little one with both hands in our bulk candy bag (yep, I said bulk, 5lbs to be exact) and chomping so hard I'm surprised she's not suffering from TMJ. It didn't even deter her when I showed up, she politely offered me a Mike & Ike. Now I can totally sympathize when a two year old comes in CHRMC with some sort of overdose, and the parents say....'we must have left it out on the counter'. I get it.

Here's when I reached for the Mike & Ike. We're really into teasing right now. She thinks she's pretty funny. Although in this picture, she looks pretty serious. So maybe she's not.
Oh Hads, the world is your oyster.

The Tour De Laziness.

This is the view I see of my hubs all of July. Even when it's 90 degrees and there's yardwork to be done. He'd rather watch some skinny bikers race up the Alps. Luckily it's only 21 days of this.

Getting closer...

Should be done by Wednesday. WOOHOO!

Tickle Me Hadley.

Why is baby torture so much fun?
