party like a princess.

I asked Hadley what kind of birthday party she wanted.
Immediately she said 'A PRINCESS PARTY.'
Really Hads?  That's so girly.  What about something else?
She said 'How about a sleepover?'
Okay, a Princess Party it is!!!  And what a party is was.  Everyone donned their fanciest, got their hair did, and we even had a surprise visit from Cinderella herself (Nana...best idea of the year...thank you!).  The girls were in princess heaven.

Pre-funk.
A real life Cinderella.  Hadley was speechless.
Face painting.
The riff-raff.
Apple juice shots.
The cake (my mama made it)...and the favors.
Another beau-ti-ful princess.
The gals...with their balloon animals from Cinderelly.  She was quite a talent.  You should have seen what she did at the after-party.
The after-party.

I can only imagine what the afterparty was like with cinderelly.
Great party idea. Most excellent cake. Your mom needs to go into business.
Happy Birthday Hads.

I'm so happy, (for Hadley's sake) that Cinderella was able to do more than read books. What a fancy party. Love it. Nice work Megs. You've really raised the bar.

Oh and that cake. Incredible.

loved every minute of it, the best party ever. All the kids were so amazing, especially our HJ, polite and darling. 4 is going to be great.

I was super impressed w Hads' behaviour, she was a most gracious princess. Thanked everyone for gifts AND let fellow princesses play with some new stuff. She is adorbs in her Snow White outfit (as are the other girls)

such an amazing party, the princess, the guests, the cake, the opening of the presents, all in all, I'd say a huge success. Hope miss Hadley is enjoying all of her new loot. xoxo

Very fun party! Ypu really have raised the bar. Really, really, really high. I think I'll just accept defeat now. :-)

OR...you can be my party planner!

There is a photo I have to find from one my high school graduation party. It reminds me a bit of your after party photos. The back ground is that my parents bought a pew (YES! A church pew) at an auction. It sat in the entry room in their house. It was a 3 seater with royal red velvet cushions. I have a photo of 3 of my parents' male friends, sitting all in a row on the pew, with their pants down like they are sitting on a toilet. I should mention that I have the photo because the 3 of them were calling me in to the room to take their photo. They called their friend's daughter in to take a photo of them sitting on a church pew with their pants down.
And They Lived Happily Ever After.

James has informed me that he now was Cinderella for his 30th birthday party! I wonder if she will give me a discount if I tell her she only needs to wear half her clothes and she wont even need to make balloon animals or do any facepainting:)
Most fun 4 year old b-day party I have been to yet and probably will be until Cars turns 4!
