Happy Birthday To You...and your little twin too!

Birthdays are the popular thing this month. And I couldn't miss sending a big birthday wish to my best gal, Jocie B.! Joc, I love you because...
I have known you forever! Since we were two, and used to share a play pen at Audrey's.
You are the queen of self-portraits. And somehow they always look really good.
This guy is your favorite person in the entire world, and I love how much you love him. And that Bennett could care less.
I think you may love my dog more than I do:). You're definitely more tolerant of him and you're the only person he gives kisses to. They say dogs are the best judge of character.
You're always up for a good time. Even if you think people who go to Seahawks games are 80's white trash.
You act like you would never want kids, yet you ALWAYS want to know what the babies around you are up to.
This is among your favorite purchases. I love how simple you can be.
You put a hat on your dog, enough said.
You love this little gal oh so much. She's the first thing you ask about everytime we talk, and I love this more than you know.
Because we'll forever be "The Redhead and The Blonde."

-JKB-
You are such a person that I completely enjoy. You make my heart light and my face smile. Thanks so much for being you, and always letting me be me. We are night and day, but I know that's what makes our friendship so great. Never lose your wit, your spunk for life, and your incredible talents (ie photography...which I've just found out about). Happy Birthday Ms. B.! So glad you're able to spend it with your most favorite people. To the moon and back!

Chicken Little.

"Wait, I think this costume makes me look fat?!"

Just another night in the tub.

I don't know who has more fun. Her or me.

Taunting Rudy.

Lauren is getting mighty brave with Rudy. Maybe she'll be a dog person after all...just like her Mama?

Pack Mule.

All ready for a walk. Who's going to carry the Queen?
Her favorite chariot.
Is this a "Mimi looking in the mirror face"?

Such Buds.

Hadley and Lauren hangin'. They must have texted eachother last night to have their Mom's put them in stripes.
Hads thinks Mondays are so cool.
And could care less when Lauren steals her binky.
So much fun together...
...and I think Lauren agrees.

Frogger

I just pulled this coat out of the closet and it's almost too little. Fat Pat the water Rat needs to stop growing! Anyway, not the best pictures, but needed you guys to see the coat. A fab gift from Zaide. Hopefully we'll get some cuter pics before it is ripping at the seams.

Whistler or Bust.

Mr. and Mrs. Conniff
Mr. and Mrs. Conniff getting a little goofy.
The gals. There were 14 of us who went, so there was never a dull moment.
Ry and I went away this weekend sans Hadley. We had a blast and helped our dear friend Pat celebrate his 30th Birthday (talk about Old Man Withers). We drank too much, ate too much, and stayed up way too late...it was fabulous. And we were so excited to get home to our sweet baby girl, who was well taken care of by Zaide and Baba.

Finally...loving the tubby.

Smiling, even with water all over her face.
Cute peaches.
Learning her ABC's, or maybe just eating them.
Thumb in the mouth, ready for bed.

Happy Morning.

Hadley's favorite part of the day is definitely the mornings. She always cranes her neck way back right when she hears us open her bedroom door and greets us with the BIGGEST smile. Maybe that's why it's our favorite time of the day too.

The Cabin...it's almost done!

Kitchen
Living room. Isn't that just the cutest little red fireplace?
Loft.
Kitchen again.
Dining room area.
My folks had an Open House at their cabin this weekend, and it sounds like it was the place to be. Lots of friends and family showed up for the big event. Except me, I was busy saving sick children (any sympathy?). But Ry headed up with Hads and had a grand ole time. Here are some of the pics that he took...and know that if I had been there, I would have made the pics a tad more exciting. Oh well, I'll be thankful that he took any. Thanks Ry!

Something is "beary" funny.

I think she's laughing at me for being such a dork and using that as a blog title. Won't be the last time I embarass you sweetie.

Loving the doctor's.

Must have been before the 4 shots we got.

A blustery day.

Almost blown away in the wind storm.
Doesn't look windy with Ryan since there's no hair to blow.
The only thing I may love as much as Hadley is my new North Face puffy coat. Like Joc said "it's just like walking around it a sleeping bag." Warmth is heaven.
Just something about these two.

What a great surprise.

Yesterday we had a package sitting on the front door from a Secret Admirer. When we opened it up we found this spooky Halloween sleep sac and some crazy Halloween mittens. Thanks Tater and Loggie for sending your little cousin some great Halloween prizes (and how did you know she LOVES sleep sacs). More pics to come, since we peed in this already and it needs to be washed.
"Oh Casper, have you ever met Tate and Logan? They are to die for! They are just the best. The two cutest, funnest, bestest gals a cousin could ask for. And their folks aren't so bad either. Make sure they get LOTS of candy on Halloween, and no cavities."

We've fattened her up!

Here's Hadley at her at her two month doctor's appt. in May. Weighing in at 9lb 40z & 231/4in tall. Look at our little giant now. At 7 months, she weighs a hefty 16lbs and is 261/2in tall. Looks like those sweet potatoes hold a lot of calories...or maybe it's all the apple juice she gets from her Grandmas?
