Teeny weeny bikini.

Who knew a bikini on a chubby gal could be so cute!? We switched her from Whole Milk to Non Fat thinking it would shrink her waste...doesn't look like it worked. (I'm kidding for those of you on hold with CPS right now). Loving this hot, hot weather and wearing all her fancy-pants swimsuits. This one courtesy of Jon and Heidi...Thank you, we couldn't keep the boys out of the cul-de-sac.
Again with those peaches.
F-U-N. I can't wait until she has little tan lines.

Birthday girl #2.

On Sunday it was Val's birthday, so we headed over for a fabulous friend filled BBQ. Here are the girls in the pool. Check out Lauren's little sex pot swimsuit. Ben's friends are in luck with this one.
We found Hadley's kryptonite. She LOVES watermelon (of course, only if SHE is the one holding it.) I seriously would have let her eat it all night long, if the thought of a million dirty diapers weren't in the back of my mind.

Heather with Baby Ben. I want your tan please.
Finally, a picture of the birthday gal! The big event of the day...going to Costco. Val said 'turning 31 really isn't that big of deal'. Well I disagree! But I think she probably did have the best birthday day ever...she married the man of her dreams, lives in the house of her dreams (or within her 'dream' salary) and has 2 beyond perfect, adorable kiddos...and a boy and a girl at that. I'm thinking at 31, life's never been better!

Rat-a-tat-tat.

Okay, I get it! I get why all you crazy mom's out there never want to cut your babies hair. I mean, are you kidding?! I have never seen a cuter, sweatier, curlier, more perfect little rat tail. And until the other kids start pointing and making fun...it's staying.

Oh baby.

These are the moments that make me excited to have another. How could I not want a million of these little faces.

Here comes the sun...and then some!

Enjoying our above ground pool. I kept telling people we were hanging out by 'the pool' when they called this weekend, and it made them so confused.
So, so big.
Dad and Had cooling off.
Yep, I do want to bite them.
Even Rudy got in on the fun.

The babies.

SMOOCH!
I kept making Kipper wrangle up the babies. Hads is a little easier to get since she's not a walker and is slow to crawl on the deck. Maddie wasn't having it.
So I'm over Hadley having Cerebral Palsy, and instead moving towards Gigantism.
Sweet little pup.

Birthday gal #1

Saturday the 28th was Sarah's bday, we celebrated a little early and had some brews with Hadley at The Ram and found Sarah the perfect birthday outfit. Surprise, surprise, I even managed to find something cute for myself.
Here she is Saturday night getting the party started with a Washington Apple. This is not the dress she picked out to wear from U Village, but instead was a panic pickout from JCrew because she decided that night "she didn't have a thing to wear". And since you pretty much get everything you want on your birthday, Eric auntied up and let her go shopping...again.Here we are at the Red Door. Ryan is the only person in the world I know who can't roll his tongue, so I often say right before we take a picture...'everyone do the tongue roll.' Glad he still finds me amusing. And a cute little story...on Sunday Ry and I were hanging out and he made some comment about not looking good and I said 'babe, you are hotter than a new box of hot tamales, what are you talking about?!' And he said, 'well, noone came up to me at the bar last night.' And I said, 'Ry it's because we look like we're 50 compared to all the 21 year olds. Now if I took you to Tony Roma's early bird special...the chicas would be on you like flies on shit.' And he told me he hates that saying.

Ladies, we'll be in Hawaii in just one month! ALOHA to that!!!

So, so, perfect.

On June 16th at 1:25pm, Hayden Emily Bruch entered the world...all 6lbs 9oz and 19inches of her. She is a doll! And with that name, those eyes, and her fabulous folks...she couldn't be more perfect. I want a Hayden Emily of my own! Bravo Jon and Hides and say goodbye to that precious thing once called sleep.

A creature of habit.

I don't know what it is about me, but when I like something, I REALLY like something. When I get a new CD I listen to it nonstop (can't really remember the last time I actually bought a real-life CD, but you understand), if I feel like tuna fish I have tuna fish sandwiches for a whole month, if I'm in the mood for Mexican then it's burritos for dinner every night that week. So, my latest obsession is the single "I kissed a girl" by Katy Perry. I cannot get enough of this song, it's on my iPod nonstop. In fact this morning I listened to this song, and only this song, during my entire run. There's just something about it. When it plays I feel like Sarah Jessica Parker yelling to her overbearing Army General father..."I JUST WANT TO DANCE." Because that is exactly what this song makes me wanna do.

Bubbles.

She loves her bubbles.

Hadley Jane...

...when did you get so darn big?!

Punky Brewster.

Hadley is huge into putting her socks on and off and on and off. She practically lifts her foot behind her head to do so. Here are two sockies she must have found in her crib when she woke up this morning. She has quite a few singlet sockies stashed away behind her pillow. And I'm loving her short PJ's.

Red.

It's true his hair is red, red, red...and I am SO in love with it! I just absolutely adore his little red locks, and I can't get over it. I think he looks like big sis, with the Kok nose and all, but who knows, Mama may actually play a role in this one's looks.

Absolutely edible!

We got ourselves a nephew...and he's easily our favorite!

Kevin coming out to let us all know Val gets to start pushing.
Cindy and Ry sneaking to listen for Benny's cry.
She did it! She got him out!

Kevin was so, so proud. It was very cute.

Here I am discovering his little red hair.

What a friggin' day huh buddy?!

BEN MICHAEL KOK
Arrived @ 10:51pm
7lbs 13oz and 20.08in tall
And cries like a champ.
He is so sweet, really cute, super alert, and teeny tiny.
Way to go kiddo and double way to go Mom and Dad, we can't wait to see how this whole boy thing works. All I know is be quick changing those diapers because boy pee flies.
