Someone call 911...

...I think I may have just had a heart attack. Yep, that's my kid you see walking. All 17 months of her. Can you hardly believe it?! I can stop searching Craigslist for wheelchairs, little rascals, scooters, and other means of future transportation for her since her legs might just actually work. Now don't let me get too far ahead of myself. She definitely needs to be 'propped' up to do this, will have none of it on her own, but she's getting better and did just 'see the light' Thursday, so I'll give her a little more time (I mean what's another month after we've waited this long). And good Lord, how perfect is my little hubby setting up this video while I'm at work so I can see it for myself. I'm not sure who I love more right now, him or her...think it's a tie.

Since it is all about her.

Since I've mainly filled the blog with pics of her dad and I, figured I'd add a few of her. We have three contanst phrases in our house "I want bite", "I want duice", and "Where's Rudy." I probably here these 53 times an hour. And the fact that she says them like a little Chinese woman with a deviated septum makes it all that more hilarious.

So friggin' huge.

Maybe it's because I deserted her for eight days, but I cannot believe what a big kid she has become. I had to keep checking her birth certificate to make sure she really was only born in 2007.

Famous Amos.

So if Ryan hadn't come a long when he did I definitely would have married Amos Lee. I am in love with the man and so enjoyed seeing him for a 5th or 6th time at the Zoo. And Hadley kept calling him "Dada" so I think that's a sign...only kidding. But I wouldn't mind if my second child was his. Kidding again...Ry are you finding this funny yet?! Thanks Lis for hunting down tickets you are definitely my go-to-gal.

I cannot get over how old she looks. Practically like a Kindergartener.
WOW, she really does look like her Dada.

Maddie didn't stop dancing the whole concert. Too bad 'In Living Color' is off the air, she definitely could have been a fly girl.
" Um, Uncle Kip, you're about the funniest guy I know. But you really should stop talking because you're super loud and we're at a concert and people keep looking at us:)"
Kiss and make up. I think this is legal only in Kentucky (the relative thing not the age thing...I think the age thing is only legal in Cambodia).

Such a kid.

"Mads, I really do think those fake ID's will work. Come on, let's get over to that Beer Garden before they realize we're gone."

SOOOO tired.

Because this is the best when it happens.

Attempting to take a picture of Ryan and realized it was on video mode. I never get sick of these mistakes. So sorry it's sideways and sorry my husband is the biggest nerd ever.

HAWAII!

We were lucky enough to head to Hawaii with our nearest, dearest friends Sarah and Eric, for our nearest and dearest friends, Jeaneatte and Christian's wedding. Wow, a mouthful. We had SOOOO much fun and lots o pictures to post. So be prepared, it's a little overboard. Thanks so much to our family for watching our most favorite little girl and thanks to the powers that be for having our plane land safely in HI and again in WA. Despite assuming I was certain to plummet to my death both ways, we had the trip of our lives.
Aloha, we made it!
Jeanette & Sarah, minutes after we arrived. We wasted no time throwing on our suits, grabbing a beer and heading to the beach.
Awww, shucks.

Also wasted no time getting a little tipsy and a little goofy.

So you get a little taste.

Here are a few pics from our first day or so. Eric had a torn bicep (pre-trip, don't let him fool you that it was in some cool surfing accident where he caught mad air), so Sarah bought him a make shift sling to help hold up his giant splint.
We missed her, that is for sure.
Self pic attempts, this is the best we got.

The wedding.

Before we headed to The Northshore.
Awaiting the nuptials.

The ceremony was so beautiful, perfect amount of time, and very intimate. These two lovebirds are crazy for eachother, there was no hiding that. Congrats Nettie and Christian!

After party.

We found paradise.

Eric found us the most amazing beach. Tucked away in this neighborhood, and then BAM...the most beautiful place I've ever been.

And don't think we didn't arrive there in style.
